Through coaching I’ve discovered that for so many clients the ‘juggle is often the struggle.’
Many face burn out from their current position, overwhelm in their relationships, and are trying to balance their home life with kids, cooking, romance, and aren’t able to find a sliver of time for their own self-care.
The truth is you don’t have to make yourself miserable to be successful.
Success is actually quite the opposite. It shows up when you allow yourself to believe you’re worthy of your dream, and you take intentional action towards making it happen.
Keep in mind, you will never truly feel satisfied by life until you are satisfied with who you are, and where you are. Which is why it’s important to learn self-care, as you are the answer to everything you seek.
Of course, there are plenty of ways to have a work life balance while also practicing self-care.
One of my favorite ways is through meditation. Allowing yourself to justbe, justbreath, and be presentin the moment.
Another way is via movement. Through exercise or dance you’ll gain clarity and getlaser sharp focused on your goals.
Knowing and accepting that you cannot do it all, and giving yourself grace when you miss a beat are also super important because we are human, and the truth is we will indeed stumble and fall, but remember through falling forward we are able to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and rise higher than we were before.
Lastly, letting go of past issues that may be holding you back in work as well as in your personal life.
Well, that sounds great right? But how do I do it.
Start by taking a deep breath inhaling fresh, new clean slate energy through your nose and then exhaling the lingering worries, anxieties, stressors through your mouth. (Do this in sets of 3)
You can start your morning right by waking up fifteen minutes before everyone else, and giving yourself time to do whatever feels good. Whether it be creating, reading, meditating, bathing, or exercising. Do what lights you up.
Taking a break from work, and doing a mid-day meditation will help regain focus and clarity.
You could also take a walk outside, around the block, and get some fresh air to help clear your beautiful mind.
In times of duress, talk it out, don’t bottle it up. It’s one of the best ways to keep yourself from holding on to stuff that doesn’t serve your highest good.
The key to everything you desire is really learning to love yourself first. It’s kind of like that philosophy they tell you on an airplane… that you have to put your oxygen mask on first before you can help others because if you didn’t you’d pass out, drain yourself, or face burnout before you could even begin to focus on them.
One of my favorite high-vibe practices is daily gratitude. Not only will it raise your vibration, but it helps keep your ‘why’ your reason for everything in the forefront of your mind.
You can start by making a list of what you’re grateful for every single day (air in my lungs, my family, my house, my career, etc.)
Another positive high-vibe practice is breathing. Learning to take a deep breathinhaling all of the positive energy, and exhaling all of the negative thoughts, or worries in Times of anxiety, pressure, or overwhelm will help calm you, get you grounded, and bring you back To The present moment.
Remember, you can do this all it takes is practice. Believing in the power of positivity, getting super clear on what you really want, allowing yourself To Take intentional action Towards making it happen, and believing in yourself, that you really can have it all.
